Understand that you will lengthen the life of your garbage disposal by running it a few times a week even if you don’t have food to put down. I don’t like to waste water-what are your thoughts?

Hey Karen! Garbage disposals can be so convenient, but they can actually waste a lot of water because they require a lot of water to operate. An easy alternative that saves water is composting food waste! Websites like Amazon sell inexpensive compost bins, from small to large, that you can keep indoors or outdoors. Compost can then be added to your gardens and used as fertilizer, so it’s a win-win!
