Determine the cost of water based on usage. The higher the usage the higherthe per gallon rate. Of particular concern is businesses such as sod farms, which draw on our aquifer only to grow grass to be shipped off island. Also a huge draw is heating & airconditioning system, not closed systems,that draw huge volumes of water. On a smaller scale, pool owners and other heavy users should see an increased cost per gallon. Futher, action is newded to prohibit the use of toxic chemicals that threaten the water quality. Changes are needed now!

We think this is a great idea! If you live in Suffolk County, it is worth mentioning that Suffolk County Water Authority has already put this in practice as of April 1, 2019. Water is a very important element in the earth . Without water our life is not possible.We cannot do anything without water.So please conserve and utilize water resources.
